Collaborative Posters

This strategy will help students to: 

• Express their ideas, values, and beliefs
• Apply listening and speaking skills
• Solve problems and identify solutions

Implementation:

1. Students work with peers to create a visual display that helps students make connections between ideas and make information transparent
2. Each group of students are given a different task
3. Each member of the group has a different coloured marker that they use to write their information on their group poster and they also write their name on the back of the poster

In a more involved task, the poster can be sectioned into separate parts for each member to complete (see image of strategy in action)
