Track Errors and find Error Patterns

This strategy will help students to: 

• Have errors identified by their teacher during lessons so that instructional adjustments can be made and targeted teaching if necessary
• Feedback occurs during independent learning, not at the end of it

Implementation:

1. Create an error analysis sheet to record student errors while students work (see example)
2. After identifying the major skills or concepts that have been taught, teachers can jot down the initials of the students who are making errors and require further instruction in identified areas.
